How to Make Light Balls

With a few simple supplies you can create these gorgeous Light Balls for your Holiday decorating. These Light Balls are sure to WOW your neighbors! They are easy to make with only a couple supplies. You can hang them in your tree, decorate your front yard and more! Let us show you how to make light balls for your holiday decorating.
Decorating our home, especially for the holidays is my absolute favorite thing to do. We always have fun decorating the front of our home too. We live on a fairy busy street, although it's cold now and there is snow on the ground, we still have quite a few neighbors that walk by.

These Christmas Light Balls require only a few easy to find supplies and you can put a dozen together in an afternoon by yourself and each decoration costs only a few dollars so it won't ruin your holiday budget.
You will need chicken wire, which is found at farm supply stores and Channellock Cutting Pliers or some type of strong cutting pliers.

CAUTION: Make sure to wear your heavy gloves when working with chicken wire.
We found it easiest to form a cylinder with the chicken wire, then cut the wire to be able to overlap it on itself.

Working on one side at a time, cut every 6 hexagon shape and cut to the center main wire.
Then hang the Light Balls in your trees for a wonderful Christmas display. Or I think these Light Balls would also be great for weddings, outdoor parties or even birthdays.

They look absolutely gorgeous! Are they solar or battery operated lights? Unfortunately I could not access the link.

Very pretty. Did you consider balling up the lights inside the chicken wire before folding the top half down?

I make these but I make them with plastic cups and a staple gun. Very easy and you can make many different sizes. The most expensive one of Meade yet was only $3...yes people $3. Everyone loves them and they are the most easy thing I've ever made that comes out stunning. People use them for other uses as well as holidays. I've seen them use the small one and make them all white lights and use then as lighting down walk ways, in flower beds and as just small lights around a gazebo for a friendly gathering. People put the solar powered ones in their pool at night and its breath taking. There are so many diffedt ways to use them.
